Autonomous Market Update (AMU)
The Autonomous Market Update (AMU) is a custom feature developed to combine the best aspects of market systems found in modern Ragnarok servers.
Its primary goal is to democratize commerce, enabling any player—regardless of their Job Class—to set up a vending stall anywhere in the world without needing a Merchant character.
Getting Started
To start selling your items, you must first obtain a license.
- Go to Prontera.
- Locate the NPC [License Vendor].
- Purchase a Merchant License (Item Cost: 1,000,000 Zeny).
- Open the envelope and double-click the license to activate it.
Once activated, you can set up a shop and list up to 7 items per character.
Alternative Currency Vending
The AMU goes beyond standard Zeny transactions. You can configure your vending stall to accept valuable game items as currency. This is ideal for high-value trading where Zeny limits might be an issue.

- Zeny
- Blacksmith Blessing
- Meteorite Powder
- Star Crystal

Tax System & Fees
The system applies a tax only to large Zeny transactions. Item-based transactions are completely tax-free.

Important: Transaction Delivery
All transactions within the AMU system are processed via RODEX (The Mail System).
- Sold Items: When someone buys your item, the currency is sent to your RODEX.
- Purchased Items: When you buy an item, it is delivered to your RODEX.
